About me
I have 20 years of experience as a NYC public school teacher, where I focused on designing and delivering clear, structured instruction for diverse learners in fast-paced classroom environments. A significant part of that experience was working in a school where more than half of my students were d/Deaf, which shaped my approach to accessibility, communication, and clarity in instruction. I also directed and produced student musicals designed for both d/Deaf and hearing audiences, which reinforced how important it is to design learning and experiences that work across different modes of access.
That background continues to inform how I design instruction today. I focus on clarity, structure, and making complex ideas accessible to different kinds of learners.
I now apply that instructional foundation to creating interactive eLearning modules using Articulate Storyline 360. The examples in this portfolio are demonstrations of that work, including procedural training, software walkthroughs, and decision-based learning experiences.
Across everything I design, I focus on breaking down complex material into sequences learners can actually follow and apply. My background in education and accessibility informs how I think about structure, pacing, and interaction design. I don’t only think of how content is presented, but how people experience and understand it.
